Going through a few of my books this past weekend, I stumbled upon an old favorite; it’s known worldwide to photographers as an essential read, and it’s definitely been the one book dealing with photography that I’ve read again and again; Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson.
The beauty of this book is that it is appealing and informational for an experienced photographer, as well as an absolute beginner. It takes you through the fundamentals of the exposure triangle, composition, and even equipment. More experienced photographers can benefit from the “refresher course” it provides. The book is in its’ 3rd edition, and I’d recommend it to photographers of ANY skill level.
