Watching through the Trees

BocaGrandeIguanaGasparilla Island (on the west coast of Florida) has a population of over 12,000 Black Spiny-Tailed iguanas, an invasive species and a predator without any natural enemies. They can grow up to over 3 feet in length.

This guy was watching me from some nearby trees, and was skiddish enough for me to have to track him around the other side of a treeline.
